10-Man (one woman) Battle Royal
The wrestlers were Aries, Eric Young, ODB, A.J. Styles, Robbie E, Robbie T, Gunner, Garett Bischoff, Magnus, Devon, and Crimson. Young, Crimson, and ODB were out 30 seconds into the match. The couple clotheslined Crimson and their momentum took them over the top. Magnus was eliminated by an Aries’ dropkick. Madison Rayne walked onto the stage and made doe eyes at someone in the ring. Tenay said she has a crush on someone and he doesn’t think the guy knows it. Robbie E eliminated Robbie T. Devon eliminated Robbie E. They went to break with only five men remaining in the match.

Garett Bischoff eliminated Devon by pulling down the top rope as Devon lunged at him. Garett thought about shaking Devon’s hand but pulled back to avoid the oldest battle royal trick in the book. He walked into a Pele Kick from Styles, who eliminated him. With Gunner down in the corner, Styles and Aries faced off. They paused to build up the moment before locking up and Taz noted it was a dream match. Gunner recovered and eliminated Aries when he was caught off guard. Styles quickly eliminated Gunner to win the match. Taz called it the best battle royal in his life. The announcers noted that Styles has qualified “for a spot” along with Bully Ray for Open Fight Night.

Winner: AJ Styles

Backstage, Christy Hemme interviewed TNA X-Division champion Austin Aries. A Twitter fan asked if Aries was intimidated. Aries said that he wasn’t. He said that his entire life, people tried to intimidate him but it’s not in his DNA to be intimidated. He said that in recent weeks, Ray spit in his face and kicked him in the balls and tonight, he gets his respect back. He said Ray thinks bigger is better but the reality is better is better. He asked Ray how it was going to feel when this little man drops him on his big head and promised to beat Ray.

TNA X-Division champion Austin Aries vs. Bully Ray

Ray’s was out first, followed shortly by Austin Aries. They showed Joseph Park in the crowd watching.

They went nose to nose at the bell. Ray began telling Aries that he can’t beat him and he’s never been in the ring with anyone as big or bad as him. Aries backed off and sat on the top turnbuckle waiting for him to stop. Aries then walked up to him and challenged him to fight, saying he wasn’t scared and he was ready.

They went to lock up and of course, Ray then pulled himself through the ropes to break it up before it started. He tried that again but Aries grabbed the ropes and slammed them upwards into the nether-regions. Aries worked over Ray but was cut off and slammed hard.

Ray spit in Aries’ face but Aries responded with a slap to the face. He worked over Ray in the corner with shots to the ears and mid-section. Aries went for a single leg takedown and bit Ray on the calve. He snapped Ray’s throat over the top. He went to the top but Ray ran and kicked him backwards off the top and Aries took this crazy backwards bump off the top into the railing. He looked to have hit his head or just barely missed the rail. It was a crazy bump.

When Aries returned to the ring you could see this nasty dark red bruises on his back as well as several cuts with blood running down his back.

Aries, who looked beat up bad, was worked over by Bully. Ray began drilling Aries over the back. Ray teased throwing him over the top but instead slammed him down. Aries began daring him to fight back. Aries went for a punch but was caught with a bear hug. Aries nailed him several times in the ear to break it but was caught and backdropped hard to the mat.

Ray stalked the ring, the measured and drilled Aries with a chop. Aries refused to back down and pulled himself up but was clotheslined down. Aries drilled Ray and fired up with several shots but was chopped down again. Ray screamed at him to stay down. Aries refused and drilled Ray hard. Ray told him he was crazy and a dead man. He teased another chop but raked Aries’ face instead.

Ray was nailed with a shoulderblock by Aries, followed by a series of elbows. He ran Ray’s face across the top rope, then ran at him with a charging clothesline. Ray cut him off with a lariat and nailed a big sitdown slam for a two count. Ray went for a powerbomb but Aries slipped out and landed on his feet. He chopped away with several kicks but was blasted with a Cutter for a two count. The story here is that Aries has a ton of heart and refuses to stand down to anyone. Ray was mad about him kicking out.

Ray and Joseph Park had words. Ray pulled him into the ringside area and shoved him down. He went to grab a chair but Aries dove onto him. He tossed Ray back in and nailed a top rope missile dropkick. He nailed a dropkick in the corner and killed Ray with a brainbuster for a close near fall.

Ray kicked him and went for a running powerbomb. Aries slipped out and was supposed to go for a Facebuster but didn’t grab Ray, who took the face-first bump. Aries locked on the Last Chancery submission and Ray tapped out.

Austin Aries vs. Zema Ion for the X-Division Championship

Aries messed up Ion’s hair and out-wrestled him, leading Ion to roll to the floor. Aries attempted to follow with a dive, but Ion dodge, and Aries crashed into the barricade.

Ion did a dive of his own and connected, and the crowd immediately chanted “This is Awesome.” Ion went on the offense and went for a moonsault only to land on Aries’ knees. Aries punched Ion into the corner and sent him back to the floor. Aries dove after him again and this time he connected.

Aries went for the brainbuster but Ion backed him into the corner. Ion went for a hurricanrana but Aries held on and Ion landed awkwardly on his head. Aries hit a Missile Dropkick, connected with the brainbuster, and covered Ion for the 1-2-3.

Winner: Austin Aries

Bully Ray vs. X Division Champion Austin Aries

We also hear from Austin Aries who has been dealing with Bully Ray who seems to think people like Aries are all talk and he plans to shut up Bully Ray once and for all.

Austin Aries then made his entrance, and asked why Ray always picked on Lawyers and Announcers. He then said the only thing that matters is Ray and Aries. He called Ray unoriginal and said all he every picked on him for was his size. He said people forget that most of Ray’s career he was blubber Ray, a poster boy for buffets and Type 2 Diabetes. Ray then smacked the mic out of his hand and started bullying him again. He said he’s insignificant, and said Ray was in his face and he still wouldn’t defend himself.

Aries then hit punches and kicks in the corner, and dominated Ray until the refs pulled them apart. Ray then snuck in a low blow while Aries was held and left up the ramp.

Lee South recently put up what could be a BRAND NEW photoshoot of Austin Aries sporting his X-Division title in a locker room setting. This is incredibly surprising consider Lee South doesn’t usually give photoshoots to men, only knockouts. Hopefully, he’ll give us more.

Austin Aries cut a brief promo backstage about how Ray can’t win without cheating and he flirted with the idea of getting his hands on Ray by the time the evening was done.

Garett Bischoff, Jeremy Borasch, The Motor City Machine Guns, Austin Aries, and RVD appeared on the stage. They presented Eric Bischoff with a parting gift, a port-o-potty, which Borasch referred to as the Shed of Shame. The two groups brawled and Garett dragged his dad to the port-o-potty. Borasch and Garett locked Eric inside and they pushed the shed over.
